Divided into Superior and Deluxe rooms, the Giovì Relais residences will allow you to relive the charm of a bygone era, the charm of days marked by the rhythm of small daily gestures. Simple yet refined spaces, where white evokes the atmosphere of the Mediterranean and provides a backdrop for period furnishings, combined with modern and essential solutions. To expertly restore the splendid 19th-century structure that now houses Giovì Relais, we drew on historic construction techniques. To enhance the spaces and give these residences a new identity, we chose traditional local materials. The walls and vaults, made with natural plaster and tuff, are embellished with local stone appliques, expertly crafted by local artisans. In one of the rooms, tuff also becomes the ideal material for a unique bedding. The floors are covered with traditional local stone. The bathroom, meanwhile, features cocciopesto. Used for wall tiles and sinks, this material, known since ancient Rome, comes in various shades of terracotta red and pairs beautifully with ceramic, glass, and steel. Finally, expertly restored wood brings new life to precious period pieces such as wardrobes, beds, cupboards, desks, and writing desks.
